In Retrospect

In 2010 I finished school, bought my first books about Disney-like animation such as the work of Preston Blair. I also bought my first graphic-tablet to widen my possibilities in digital painting and had a new custom-made pc. The actual idea of the Dinosaurs Inc. story-line also has its roots in that year. Sadly, the accusations of art-thievery had a climax while I was struggeling for stylistic improvement.
The pictures are not chronologically arranged.

Sora I could be wrong, but I think this was my last serious try to color an image with classical crayons. After, I lost interest in traditional ways of coloration.

Venus I drew the fore-drawing for this image still in 2009 - the first time Venus was ever drawn! On the first sheet, she still had a small muzzle-horn.

Venus

Venus The first published image of Viv.

Venus This picture was the reason for a lot of confusion. Many people thought this picture was actually drawn in 1976 and for the first time I began to realise that I didn't reach what I was aiming at: Listening to a song and signing the image with the year the song was published. I continued doing it anyway, less confident about it.
